Tidy in 5 Minutes Flat!

With the constant desire to keep a tidy home, I’ve mastered a way to tidy your main living space in 5 minutes flat, allowing me to relax in my home until the next big clean.
Have on hand: vacuum, clean rag, cleaning solution.
1. FOLD BLANKETS AND PLACE THROW PILLOWS
Time: 1 minute
When your pillows are all over the place, your comfy couch can feel like a big ol’ mess. Take 30 seconds to put pillows back in their place, and fold any throw blankets precisely, placing them over the arm of your couch, or along the back of the couch. Neat and tidy.
2. STRAIGHTEN + TIDY RUGS
Time: 1 minute
Now that your living room is looking a bit better, straighten out your rugs and do a quick once over, collecting and dust, pet hair, and dirt – giving you instant satisfaction!
3. LOAD + RUN DISHWASHER
Time: 1 minute
Take a quick minute to gather any dishes lying around the house, and in your kitchen. Pop them in the dishwasher and run it! Ahhh self-cleaning machines.
4. CLEAN SURFACES
Time: 2 minutes
Group like belongings together into vignettes, putting anything laying out back in it’s home. With your rag and cleaning solution, quickly wipe down all surfaces (kitchen counter, table, tv table, side tables, cabinets and fridge doors.
With a fresh smell and dust all gone – you’ll feel accomplished and clear minded, ready to take on the rest of your day.
Now, make a coffee, tea, lemon water and take a 5 minute break to sit back, light a candle and enjoy your refreshed home!
